Northwest Region Internships

The Northwest Region stretches from the foothills and farmland near Whitecourt, Barrhead, and Swan Hills, across Slave Lake, High Prairie, and Valleyview, all the way to Grande Prairie, Fairview, Peace River, Manning, High Level, and Zama City. It reaches right up to the Northwest Territories border and includes communities across the Peace Country such as Falher, Grimshaw, and La Crête. Rich in forestry, agriculture, and energy, the region is also home to strong Indigenous communities and Métis settlements like Paddle Prairie, Peavine, and East Prairie. Whether you’re along Highway 2 in the busy Grande Prairie corridor, on the shores of Lesser Slave Lake, or in a northern frontier town, our Northwest Team is here to connect you to the employers, industries, and opportunities that drive this unique part of Alberta.
