CAREERS recognizes the value of experiential learning (career-integrated learning) and believes all students should have an opportunity to start developing career paths while in high school.
With support from the Alberta Government, CAREERS plans to double the number of schools we work with from 500 to 1,000 and quadruple the annual number of paid student internships and full-time apprenticeships from 1,567 to 6,000 by 2023
As more students and employers participate, the impact on our province is huge. See how CAREERS programs are improving communities, empowering under-represented groups and celebrating success.
We partnered with Rotary Club of Calgary to support community programming and expand work experiences for youth. Learn more about our joint impact in this video playlist honouring the life and legacy of Lou MacEachern.
