CAREERS is breaking down barriers and creating pathways for young women in skilled trades and technologies. This two-day camp and summit offers a hands-on experience designed to inform, inspire, and empower young women to explore future careers in the trades.

On Wednesday, November 12, participants will spend the day at the CAREERS office for industry tours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. They will visit multiple industry sites, explore different trades, take part in hands-on activities and demonstrations, and meet trades professionals and employers who will share real-world insights and career advice.

On Thursday, November 13, participants will attend the Young Women in Trades and Technologies Summit at NAIT from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Throughout the day, they will take part in workshops, interactive sessions, and presentations, connect with industry professionals, employers, and representatives from educational institutions, and gain a deeper understanding of apprenticeships, training opportunities, and career pathways in the skilled trades.

This event offers hands-on learning, exposure to real trade environments, direct connections with industry professionals and employers, and practical knowledge to help participants plan their future in trades or technologies. Transportation and lunch are provided.
