Internship Database
Forestry Technician
Assist with gathering information on woodland conditions and wildlife, conducting conservation projects, and monitoring forest resources. This position could include examining trees for disease or bug infestations, surveying, analyzing soil, and locating wildlife habitat.
Silviculturist
Assist with controlling the growth, health and quality of woodlands for use as wildlife habitat, timber, water resources, restoration, and recreation. This position could include planting, prescribed burning, thinning, seed cone collecting, and conservation. This position could include use of technologies such as GPS.
Water Wastewater Operator
Assist with monitoring and operating control systems and equipment in water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems and storm water conveyance systems.
